27th Mount Washington
If you want to work in or live near Louisville, Mount Washington is a commuter town to add to your list. It has surged in population growth over the past three decades and has grown in business and commercial development during that time as well while still maintaining a small town feel of neighborly communities and safety.
As for educational opportunities for families raising children, the Bullitt County Public Schools system offers four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school within the city limits, and a new elementary school is currently under construction. The median household income is about 20 percent above the state average, which means that the job opportunities are suitable to support these families as well.
Violent Crimes per 1,000: 0.65
Property Crimes per 1,000: 20.46

Join the numerous residents in our community who have already had names engraved in the brick pavers in the City plaza. Everyone enjoys searching the pathway for their name and/or the names of family and friends. Pavers make thoughtful and exciting graduation, birthday or holiday gifts. Others have taken the opportunity to honor and remember those loved ones in spirit, by using this as a tribute and memorial.
