Mt. Washington Spring Festival “2010”

The Mt. Washington Lions and Lioness Clubs invite you to join us in our Spring Festival Parade on Saturday, May 8, 2010.  The parade will begin lining up at 8:00 a.m. in the Houchen’s parking lot and will begin its route at 10:00 a.m.  You will be assigned a location number when you register on the day of the parade.

The parade theme for 2010 is:  “Small Town Pride”

Entries for floats will be divided into three categories:

(1)   Churches and civic organizations

(2)   Schools

(3)   Businesses

There will be one prize awarded to each category.

Judging of floats will begin at 9:00 a.m.  If you would like your float to be judged, you must be registered and checked-in before 9:00 a.m. “and” have your float lined up at your assigned parade location number.

In the event of rain, the parade will be postponed until 1:30 p.m.
