Minutes of the Special Council Meeting

April 28, 2004

City Hall Annex Building, 186 Branham Way

Mayor Sullivan called the meeting to order at 12:16pm with the following Council members present:  Joetta Calhoun, Lloyd Dooley, Sid Griffin, and Larry Porter.  Ralph Lutes arrived at 1:30pm.

Also present were City Clerk Christi Franklin, City Treasurer Peggy Brinkman, Utility Superintendent Ronnie Fick, Parks Co-Director Terry Sollberger, Sergeant Rodney Hockenbury and Sergeant Roy Daugherty.    

The Council discussed the proposed draft of the City annual budget for the 2004/2005 fiscal year.  Each budget line item and all proposed capital expenditures were reviewed in depth.

Christi Franklin will make more reductions in the budget and a special meeting will be held in May for additional discussion. 

Sid Griffin made a motion to adjourn at 3:08pm.  Joetta Calhoun seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.
