Minutes of the Public Hearing

September 22, 2003   

City Hall Annex Building, 186 Branham Way

The public hearing was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Sid Griffin, who presided in the absence of Mayor Sullivan.  The following Council members were present: Sam Beichler, Joetta Calhoun, Lloyd Dooley, Ralph Lutes, and Larry Porter.

Also present were City Clerk Christi Franklin, City Treasurer Peggy Brinkman, Utility Superintendent Ronnie Fick, and City Attorney Rodney Burress.

Christi Franklin stated that the purpose of the public hearing is to obtain citizen comments regarding the real and personal property tax rates for the 2003 calendar year. 

No citizens commented. 

The public hearing adjourned 6:20pm.
