The City of Mt. Washington has an exclusive contract with Rumpke of Kentucky to provide trash, recycling and yard waste removal.  If your trash is not picked up on your pick up day, please contact Rumpke at (502) 568-3800 or 1 (800)-678-6753

On your pick up day, please place all trash, recycling and yard waste at the curb by 6:00am.  Please remember that in most cases, the driver is the only person on the truck and if you can't lift an item, neither can they.

Each residence is allowed one (1) large item per week.  Please contact waste management if you will be placing a large item at the curb, so that they can plan the number of workers per truck accordingly.  

The current cost for these services is $11.65 per month, billed on your water bill.
